Website Terms & Conditions - Self Catering, Camping & Touring
When you make a booking a contract is formed between Wood Leisure (us - Blairgowrie, Lomond Woods, Corriefodly, Deeside, Campsie Glen & Callander Woods Holiday Parks) and the customer (you) once we have accepted your initial payment whether it is a deposit or the full payment. Below are the terms and conditions of that contract.
Holiday Home Bookings: When you make an online booking, we require an initial non-refundable deposit of £50 per unit (£100 for a fortnight) to confirm the booking. We then require the full payment no later than 4 weeks prior to your holiday start date (Please note, no reminder will be sent). If you make your booking within 4 weeks of the start date, we will require full payment for your holiday at the time of booking. If the balance of your payment is not received 4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday we will assume that you no longer require the accommodation, and we reserve the right to cancel/re-let it.
Touring/Tent* Bookings: When you make an online booking, we require full payment or a deposit of £30 to confirm the booking. We then require the balance to be paid 7 days prior to arrival.
Pod**: When you make a booking, we require an initial non-refundable deposit of 30% for each pod to confirm the booking.
Methods of payment:
We can accept payment by debit and credit card (we do not accept American Express) and BACS payments.
Once you have confirmed your booking you cannot change any of the details without our agreement. In these circumstances we will do our best to help make minor alterations in advance of your holiday, however, charges may apply - please check with our Head Office team. Date changes can be made prior to the balance being paid. Once you have received your booking confirmation, if there is any information which is incorrect, then you must inform us straight away to try to rectify any errors. If you add additional nights to your booking once the balance is paid, this will not be at our Short Break price as seen on our website, this will be calculated on a nightly basis.
Cancellation Terms & Procedures:
We recommend that you take out insurance cover for your holiday, as once you have paid your deposit you have entered into a contract and are liable for the full holiday cost, even in the event of cancellation. If you wish to cancel your holiday please contact our Reservations Team, then confirm your cancellation in writing either by post or email. We will then confirm your cancellation by return either by post or email.
If you are cancelling your holiday booking prior to the date of arrival (4 weeks for Holiday Homes & Camping Pods or 1 week for Touring & Camping), we may be able to offer to transfer a proportion of your deposit or holiday cost on cancellation. If possible, we will offer to transfer your booking to alternative holiday dates within the same calendar year, subject to an administration charge which will be retained from your original booking cost. This transfer can be made to any of our sister Parks and must be re-booked at the time of cancellation and in writing to advise us of the new holiday dates. This transfer option is non-transferrable to any other guests and subject to availability.
All prices stated are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. We operate a dynamic pricing structure which varies according to availability and season, once a booking has been made the price cannot be altered.
All offers and bookings are subject to availability. Only one special offer applies per booking.
The Wood Leisure Loyalty Card is available to any customer who has had a minimum of 1 previous stay at any of our Parks in the last 12 months. The previous booking must have been made in their name.
The Loyalty Card entitles the holder to 15% off any booking made directly with us online through our website or 10% if booking over the phone or in person. When booking online it is your responsibility to enter the “promo code/voucher code” advised to you in your Loyalty Card Letter, if you have not done this and have paid in full or the outstanding balance is less than 10%/15% of the overall cost of your booking we cannot refund the discount. The discount can only be applied where the person booking is the holder of the card and will be staying in the accommodation booked. Where multiple accommodations/pitches are being booked, the discount will only be applied to the lead accommodation/pitch. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers. Loyalty Card discount is only applied to the accommodation or pitch booked, not on any extras.

Hot tub Accommodation Guidelines
We hope you enjoy relaxing in your hot tub and please follow our guidelines below for your safety (these are also available alongside your hot tub). Our team will test and treat your hot tub daily and we request that you do not use your hot tub during this time.

Hot Tubs Dos & Don’ts Advice
Bubbling Away - Our hot tubs are pre-set at the advised temperature of up to 40 degrees centigrade. This temperature cannot be altered and any temperature change must be requested by the guest to our team.
Scrub down - please remember to remove any make up/cosmetics/fake tan and take a shower before taking a dip.
Stay safe - do tie up long hair and do not submerge your head into the hot tub water for safety reasons.
Excited kids - do make sure young children are never left unattended near to, or in, the hot tub and children under the age of 4 years should never be taken into the hot tub.
If in doubt, sit out - we recommend that you seek medical advice before using the hot tub if you suffer from heart/circulatory problems, are pregnant, have any infectious skin conditions, are taking medication or generally feeling unwell.
Smoke-free zone – please do not smoke whilst enjoying the bubbles.
Bubblelicious – Please do not be tempted to add any bath products to the hot tub (bubble bath/shampoo or body oils) this could result in your hot tub having to be drained down and cleaned and may incur an unwanted cost to your holiday.
Party at yours? - Do try and remember we have other guests staying on the Park close to your accommodation. While we are sure they would love to join you, the tub just isn’t big enough, so please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and vacate the hot tub by 11pm.
Bubbly? – please do not consume alcohol when using the hot tub and consider whether it is safe to use the hot tub if you have been drinking alcohol, as this is for your own safety. Please use plastic glasses provided for drinking around the hot tub area/outdoors.
Wrinkly prune - we recommend you submerge yourself for no longer than between 15 to 20 minutes per session. (Over exposure can result in nausea, dizziness, fainting or skin irritation).
Put a lid on it - do remember to put the cover over the hot tub once you have enjoyed your dip. The temperature will always drop a few degrees as soon as the lid is off, so please allow it time to heat back up between dips.
Tight squeeze – please note that the hot tub is only for use by registered guests who are occupying the hot tub accommodation.
Longer holiday - If you are staying with us for longer than 7 nights, we will need to carry out a routine maintenance drain down. The hot tub will not be in use during this essential maintenance, but our team will have the tub filled as soon as possible for you.
We will arrange with you a suitable day/time for this maintenance to take place in advance.
In the unlikely situation that the above guidelines have not been followed and the hot tub requires deep cleaning, our team may need to carry out emergency maintenance to drain down and clean the hot tub to ensure the hot tub is safe for you to use. On this occasion, the hot tub may not be ready for use on the same day, depending on the cleaning required (charges may apply).
Wood Leisure will not be liable for any incidents that occur should these guidelines not be adhered to. Please ensure you contact a
team member of Wood Leisure if you are unsure of any of the above guidelines.
