Terms & Conditions
When you make a booking a contract is formed between Wood Leisure (us - Blairgowrie, Lomond Woods, Corriefodly, Deeside and Campsie Glen Holiday Parks) and the customer (you) once we have accepted your initial payment whether it is a deposit or the full payment (if it is less than 56 days before the start of the holiday). Below are the terms and conditions of that contract.
Holiday Home Bookings: When you make a booking we require an initial non-refundable deposit of £100 per unit (£200 for a fortnight) in order to confirm the booking. We then require the full payment no later than 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date (Please note, no reminder will be sent). If you make your booking within 8 weeks of the start date, we will require full payment for your holiday at the time of booking. If the balance of your payment is not received 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday we will assume that you no longer require the accommodation and we reserve the right to cancel/re-let it.
Touring/Tent* Bookings: When you make a booking we require an initial non-refundable deposit of your first night’s stay in order to confirm the booking. We then require the balance to be paid on arrival. If the balance of your payment is not received by 6pm on the evening of your arrival, we will assume that you no longer require the pitch and we reserve the right to re-let it (unless prior arrangements have been made).
Pod**: When you make a booking we require an initial non-refundable deposit of the first night for each pod in order to confirm the booking. We then require the full payment no later than 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date (Please note, no reminder will be sent). If you make your booking within 8 weeks of the start date, we will require full payment for your holiday at the time of booking. If the balance of your payment is not received 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday we will assume that you no longer require the accommodation and we reserve the right to cancel/re-let it.
Methods of payment:
We can accept payment by debit and credit card (we do not accept American Express), BACS payments and by cheque (unfortunately we cannot accept a cheque payment up to 4 weeks prior to the arrival date of your booking)
Once you have confirmed your booking you cannot change any of the details without our agreement. In these circumstances we will do our best to help make minor alterations in advance of your holiday, however charges may apply - please check with the park direct or call our Head Office team. Once you have received your booking confirmation, if there is any information which is incorrect, then you must inform us straight away in order to try to rectify any errors.
Cancellation Terms & Procedures:
We recommend that you take out insurance cover for your holiday, as once you have paid your deposit you have entered into a contract and are liable for the full holiday cost, even in the event of cancellation. If you wish to cancel your holiday please contact the park direct, then confirm your cancellation in writing either by post or email. We will then confirm your cancellation by return either by post or email.
If you are cancelling your holiday booking more than eight weeks prior to the date of arrival, we may be able to offer to transfer a proportion of your deposit or holiday cost on cancellation. If possible we will offer to transfer your booking to alternative holiday dates within the same calendar year, subject to an administration charge of £25 which will be retained from your original booking cost (Holiday Home bookings). This transfer can be made to any of our sister Parks and must be re-booked at the time of cancellation and in writing to advise us of the new holiday dates. This transfer option is non-transferrable to any other guests and subject to availability.
All prices stated are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. We operate a dynamic pricing structure which varies according to availability and season, once a booking has been made the price cannot be altered.
All offers and bookings are subject to availability. Only one special offer applies per booking.
The Wood Leisure Loyalty Card is available to any customer who has had a minimum of 1 previous stay at any of our Parks in the last 12 months. The previous booking must have been made in their name.
The Loyalty Card entitles the holder to 10% off any booking made directly with ourselves either in person, on the telephone or online through our website. When booking online it is your responsibility to enter the “promo code” advised to you in your Loyalty Card Letter, if you have not done this and have paid in full or the outstanding balance is less than 10% of the overall cost of your booking we cannot refund the discount. The discount can only be applied where the person booking is the holder of the card and will be staying in the accommodation booked. Where multiple accommodations are being booked, the discount will only be applied to the lead accommodation. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers. Loyalty Card discount is only applied to the accommodation or pitch booked, not on any extras.
Primarily we run a family holiday park. Only those persons listed with the booking can occupy your holiday accommodation. We reserve the right to ask any persons not listed to leave the park at any time.
Number of People:
The number of people in your group (including children & babies) must not exceed the maximum capacity of the holiday accommodation. A maximum of one infant, sleeping in a cot, under the age of 2 years may be accommodated over and above the maximum capacity, subject to the Parks’ discretion. The maximum number of guests in each accommodation unit (and as stated on our website) must not be exceeded. If it is, we may move those additional persons to another accommodation unit (subject to availability) and will charge you or them the appropriate full charge for the additional accommodation, from the date your party arrived.
Single Sex and Non-Family Groups:
We do not normally accept single sex or non-family groups. If you wish to make this type of booking you must contact head office on Tel: 01250 878124 to discuss details further. We have the right to refuse your booking. Sorry no Hen & Stag parties allowed.
To make a booking you must be over 18. We do not normally accept bookings where more than half the party is aged 17-25. If this is the case you must contact the park before you attempt to make a booking as we have the right not to accept it.
From time to time, due to unforeseen circumstances we may have to alter the type of accommodation you have booked. This will be to a similar or better standard than what you have booked.
Children must be supervised whilst on the park and are the responsibility of their parent or guardian during their stay. Never allow children to play near or in the streams/rivers, as there are areas of deep water. Football should not be played anywhere on the park. Other ball games should be played away from caravans & Lodges using a soft foam ball. Children should not be playing on the play area after 10pm. Children under the age of 16 should not be left unsupervised in the accommodation or on the park.
Holiday Homes: Some of our holiday accommodation is particularly set aside for dog owners with a maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation. We reserve the right to decline certain breeds of dog so details must be given at the time of booking. There is a charge to bring your dog(s) on holiday with you, for further details please consult our price list. Any customer who has not revealed the fact that they have brought their pet on holiday and has not booked into a dog specific accommodation will be asked to move units (if available) or leave the park. We can offer some pet free units, please specify at time of booking – not guaranteed. Please bring your pet basket with you and ensure that your pet(s) does/do not lie on the bedding or furniture under any circumstances.
Touring/Pod**/Tent* bookings: We accept a maximum of 2 dogs per booking, however additional dogs may be accepted at the discretion of the management, please contact the park of your choice for further information.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst on the park. Dog owners must clean up after them using the bins provided. Dogs are not allowed in the play area, and must not be left unattended in the holiday accommodation, or on the park.
Registered assistance dogs are accepted free of charge at all of our Holiday Parks, subject to availability of suitable accommodation. Please check at the time of booking as we also like to accommodate people with pet allergies.
All visitors must report to reception on their arrival and check parking regulations with reception.
There is a speed limit on all parks of 10mph, which must be adhered to. Vehicles are driven onto the park and left at your own risk and we are not responsible for loss or damage. We allow a maximum of 2 cars to be parked alongside each holiday accommodation. Additional cars may be parked in main forecourt (charges apply) and also vary for each Holiday Park, so please enquire at the time of booking if you have any specific requirements. We do not allow commercial vehicles on the parks unless by prior agreement.
Please note: Lomond Woods operates a one-way system with a security gate, which is locked at midnight and re-opens at 8am the following morning. You can vacate the Park at any time after the gate is closed. If you are accessing your accommodation after the gate is closed, additional parking is available on the main forecourt. Access to your accommodation/touring pitch can then be made by foot.
Holiday Home Bookings: Your accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival.
Touring Bookings: Your pitch will be available from 1pm on the day of your arrival. Bookings are kept until 6pm on the day of arrival unless we are informed otherwise.
Pod** Bookings: Your Camping Pod is ready from 2pm onwards on your day of arrival
Tent* Bookings: Your pitch will be available from 1pm onwards on your day of arrival
Reception closes at 6pm (5pm Nov-March). Arrivals are accepted up until 8pm via a Duty Warden Service. We would kindly ask you to advise us in advance if you expect to arrive after reception closes. Your holiday home/pitch/pod will be allocated to you on arrival. Bookings are kept for you until reception closes on the day of arrival unless we are informed otherwise.
Holiday Home Bookings: You must vacate your holiday accommodation by 10.00am on the day of your departure.
Touring Bookings: You must vacate your pitch by 12 noon on the day of your departure.
Pod** Bookings: You must vacate your pod by 11.00am on the day of departure.
Tent* Bookings: You must vacate your pitch by 12 noon on the day of your departure
Charges will be incurred for late check-out that has not had prior agreement by the Park. Should you wish to arrange a late check-out, please contact Reception the day prior to departure to discuss (charges may apply).
If you have any special requirements or requests regarding your stay with us, such as pet free accommodation, late arrival, group requests etc. then please notify our team at the time of booking so that we can do our best to accommodate you. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to guarantee your request, however we endeavour to do our best to meet your requests as often as possible.
If you have a pet allergy, we cannot guarantee that dogs, or other pets, have not stayed in your allocated accommodation, even if we do not normally allow pets in that specific unit, nor can we accept any responsibility for any subsequent health reaction.
Guests with a Disability:
If you have any special requirements, please let us know at time of booking. We will do our best to meet these requirements but they cannot always be guaranteed. If your special request is a necessity for you to be able to take a break, or any member of your party has restricted mobility or access requirements, please contact our Reservations Team on 01250 878124. Unfortunately we do not offer any specially adapted accommodation.
Holiday Home Bookings: A Security Deposit of £50 - £150 (dependant on type of accommodation booked) will be requested on arrival to ensure the accommodation is left in the same condition as it was found without breakages or damages. Part or all of this may be retained if our Wardens are called out due to unsociable behaviour. This can be made by holding credit/debit card information, cheque or cash. Any transactions will be returned/refunded within 7 days to the customer, assuming that the accommodation is left in a suitable condition. You will be contacted within 48 hours of your departure should there be any concerns.
Pod* Bookings: A £50 Security Deposit will be requested on check-in to ensure the accommodation is left in the same condition as it was found. This can be made by holding credit/debit card information, cheque or cash. Any transactions will be returned/refunded within 7 days to the customer, assuming that the accommodation is left in a suitable condition. You will be contacted within 48 hours of your departure should there be any concerns.
Touring Bookings: We require a deposit of £2 - £5 on arrival for the facility key, this is then refunded on your departure when the keys are returned to reception. Blairgowrie & Lomond only
Please note all our holiday homes & Pods are "No Smoking". Smoking is permitted outside the holiday homes & pods and we would kindly request that you do not leave any litter outside. Charges will apply if you are found to be smoking in the accommodation. E-cigarettes can be used in the accommodation.
Please note all our facilities are "No Smoking" - fines apply to anyone smoking indoors.
Use of accommodation:
You must use your accommodation and its contents with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition on departure. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning, missing items or damage. An inventory is available on request.
We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, maintenance work or housekeeping. Your occupation is not exclusive.
You must not hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) in your accommodation without our prior agreement.
Optional Extras Self Catering:
We will be happy to supply any of the following, which should be booked and paid with your deposit to ensure availability (Available in all of our holiday homes):
- Baby cots with linen - £12 (Please note that cots do not fit into the bedrooms of all units and may need to be used in the lounge).
- High chairs - £10
- Champagne, Prosecco, Flowers or Chocolates
Optional Extras Tourers/Tents*/Pods**:
We will be happy to accept the following, which should be booked and paid with your deposit to ensure availability (Available on selected pitches):
- Extra persons – £2 - £4 per person per night (dependant on park) Under 5’s free
- Awnings - £2 - £3 per night (dependant on if Full or Porch)
- Extra Car - £2.00 per night (£3.00 peak season) must be parked in car park
- Dog - £0.50-£1.00 per pet per night (dependant on park
- 5 man+ Tent* - £3 per night
The opening and closing dates of our facilities are provided on our website, however these may be subject to change depending on seasonal fluctuations or unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to advise you at the time of booking of any changes to our facility opening times if they have been altered at that stage, otherwise please always check prior to booking if this is important to your stay.
Wireless internet access, where available, is not guaranteed and is provided subject to third party terms and conditions which are available when accessing the system. The facility is not subject to any particular security/filtering measures and requires continuous parental supervision when used by children.
Licensed Premises (Campsie Glen & Corriefodly)
We shall not serve or sell alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18 (and cannot prove they are over 18), or whom we, in our sole discretion, consider to have been drinking excessively.
- We do not permit gazebos, jet skis, commercial vehicles or boats on any of our parks.
- We do not allow tents at our Blairgowrie & Lomond Woods Parks.
- Awnings: For licensing and safety purposes we do not permit anyone to stay overnight in an awning. The awnings permitted on our parks shall not be of types which incorporate sleeping accommodation. You are responsible for declaring the size and type of awning you wish to erect at the time of booking. If anyone is found to be using an awning for accommodation purposes we reserve the right to ask them to leave the park and no refund will be given.
- We would appreciate no noise between 10pm and 8am, music should always be played quietly.
- We request that children vacate the play area by 10pm each night.
-We do not allow open fires on the park.
- Please ensure all barbeques are raised off the grass and decks thank you.
If you are uncertain if this restriction applies to you or your group, please contact the park direct or our reservations team prior to making a booking.
Your Personal Possessions:
We take all reasonable steps to safeguard Wood Leisure premises and hope we will have no cause for concern during your break but guests remain responsible for looking after their own belongings. Please remember to secure any vehicles or bicycles and try not to leave valuable items on display. If you are bringing anything valuable with you on holiday you should check it is adequately covered by your insurance. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage to your belongings unless it is due to our negligence.
You are responsible for the behaviour of all members of your party. Behaviour should be in keeping with the family environment and should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the police being involved. Offensive or aggressive behaviour or language towards our staff is not acceptable. We may ask you and/or your party to leave immediately if your conduct results in Police attendance or is considered by us to be inappropriate: likely to cause harm: or impair the enjoyment, comfort or safety of anyone: or is likely, in our belief, to breach any of this agreement. No refund or compensation will be given in these circumstances and we reserve the right not to accept any future bookings from you or any member of your party.
We have a zero tolerance policy on drugs. Anyone found to be taking illegal drugs or any other illegal substance will be asked to leave the park and will not receive a refund for any part of their break.
Call out of our Warden due to unreasonable/unsociable behaviour may result in some or all of your Security Deposit being retained.
No shotgun, knife, firearm, air weapon, archery equipment, fireworks (including sparklers) or similar item may be brought onto any park under any circumstances by you or anyone in your party.
Comments or concerns:
If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied with any aspect of your break whilst on park, please approach reception or call reservations. They will endeavour to help you immediately so that you can enjoy the rest of your stay. If you do not give us the opportunity to resolve the problem locally by reporting it whilst on park we may not be able to deal with it positively with any feedback on your return home. Claims may be rejected if we have not been given the opportunity to put matters right or investigate your concerns. If at the end of your holiday, you feel that we have not provided a satisfactory solution, the lead guest should write to: Wood Leisure, Head Office, Hatton Road, Rattray, Blairgowrie, PH10 7AL or email email@example.com.
Please submit any written comments within 28 days of returning from your break so that we may properly review and reply to your feedback. Please write your Booking Number on any correspondence.
Please note that we are not responsible for any matter of which you were aware and which you did not bring to our attention during your break.
We regularly take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. Please be aware that these may take place while you are at our parks.
Only non-intrusive photography of your own party and friends is permitted on our parks. Photography (still, digital and video) is not permitted in the changing rooms of our outdoor pool at Campsie Glen Holiday Park. You may not carry out photography for commercial purposes, publication or similar purposes in any part of our Parks.
Brochure & Website:
We have taken great care to ensure the accuracy at the time of publication of our brochure and continuously with our website, however information and prices may have changed by the time you book. Information is correct at time of going to print. We shall not be held liable if any facilities become unavailable. All pictures are for illustration purpose only.
All the information we collect and hold about you and members of your party may be stored in computer and other filing systems, for which we hold a valid notification under the Data Protection Act.
Should you forget something then we are happy to arrange for this to be sent back to you at a minimum charges of £10 (larger items will cost more). We attend the Post Office once a week to post back Lost Property. Alternatively you can arrange for the item to be collected.
We will hold your information, where collected by us, and may use it to provide you with holiday or special offer information. If you do not wish to receive this information in the future, please contact us in writing to advise us of this request or unsubscribe from our e-marketing list. We will not pass your information on to any third parties for marketing use without your permission.
