What's New in 2018!
22nd January 2018
2018 has arrived and we are, as always enthusiastic about the year ahead! The Wood family are committed to ensuring our parks, the facilities and accommodation are of a high standard and we continually reinvest in our 5 holiday parks to achieve this. Winter projects started back in October and the team have been working hard in the elements to make sure the parks and the facilities are all ready for the start of the season.
Our range of self-catering accommodation is regularly upgraded on a rolling basis and this year is no exception! As well as rolling out our glamping range, we have increased our self-catering lodges, added new hot tub caravan holiday homes and upgraded many of the existing hire fleet to 2018 models.
Following on from the launch of our brand new website in 2017, our new booking system will be introduced this Spring giving customers greater flexibility and a wider range of booking options.
Good news for touring customers, we have not forgotten about you!
Lomond Woods see the transformation of their gents’ toilets following on from the ladies’ refurbishment that was completed last year. Campsie Glen welcomes the addition of a facility block to service our tent/pod area and incorporates toilets, showers and laundry. Deeside are very pleased to introduce their new, contemporary facility building including family bathrooms, ladies and gent’s toilets and showers, accessible wet room and laundry – a fabulous addition to the park now that it is very close to being fully reinstated after storm Frank!
Fully serviced touring pitches have been added to Campsie Glen and along with Deeside, sees the addition of the latest motorhome service station.
Guests arriving at Blairgowrie will now be given a warm welcome in their new accessible reception and alongside this, we launched our first fully accessible caravan holiday home at the end of last year.
Campsie Glen’s Bar and Bistro toilets are getting a full makeover which is allowing the games room to be incorporated within the main building providing a super ‘hub’ for friends and families to enjoy!
Alongside our large projects, our maintenance teams are continuing with improvements throughout our parks and for our holiday home owners - from landscaping, road improvements and updates to service supplies. With so many enhancements and additions to the parks, the team are eagerly looking forward to welcoming back our loyal guests and meeting new faces in 2018!
