Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

On arrival at the Holiday Park we request that all visitors/guests report to Reception (the building located in front of you as you arrive into the Park).  Car parking is available outside the front of Reception at the entrance to the Holiday Park.  There is one designated disabled space closest to the Reception.

Main Entrance & Reception

From the parking area there is a short walk to the Reception building, where ramp access into the Reception is provided.  There is currently no disabled door control, however if you contact a member of staff they will be more than happy to assist.

Reception is open daily from 9am to 5pm in the winter and till 6pm in the summer.  After the Reception is closed there is a Duty Warden available by telephone for any emergencies.  We also have Wardens residing on the Park.

Public Areas (External)

The main road to the Holiday Park is tarmac with speed humps and a 10mph speed limit is in place.  The roads accessed from the main road are mainly gravel under foot, with some areas being tarmac.

The Park has minimal external lighting to create a suitable ambiance at night.  The lights are on sensors and are fitted with low energy bulbs, keeping energy costs to a minimum and helping the environment.

Amenity Block & Chemical Disposal

The family rooms are accessed from the main road and have no steps to access them.  The rooms are currently accessed using a lock and key system (provided to all guests on arrival).  Assistance for entering the amenity block can be arranged at Reception during opening hours.  Once into the building the area designated ladies and gents shower room, a designated family room with baby change facilities (can be used by all users) and a designated disabled room (can be used by all users).  There are grip rails on the WC and it is a walk-in wet room shower area.

Laundry

Our public Laundry facilities are located at the top of the Park and parking is usually to the side of the building, however parking at the door can be arranged if required.  There are two steps into the laundry, which is accessed by a lock and key system (provided to all guests on arrival).  Assistance using and accessing the laundry facilities can be made at Reception, during opening hours.

Play Areas

Our play area for younger children (from approximately 1 to 11 years) is located near to the entrance of the Holiday Park.  This play area provides facilities for the young on an astro-turf base.

We request all children to be supervised at all times when using the play equipment and can not be responsible for the safety of your children.  The play areas are closed by 10pm to reduce noise on the Park.

Dogs are not permitted onto the play areas.

Caravan Holiday Homes

All of our caravan holiday homes are Thistle graded with full central heating and double glazing and all include the bed linen and towels.  There are two or three steps into each of the caravan holiday homes and they all have a patio area with a picnic bench.

Parking is provided alongside all of our caravan holiday homes, which permit two cars per unit, with additional cars to be parked on the forecourt at the entrance to the Holiday Park.

We do not currently have any disabled friendly caravan holiday homes.

Lodges

All of our Lodges are graded ‘four star’ with Visit Scotland and are heated throughout with panel heaters or with full central heating and double glazing.  All Lodges also include the bed linen and towels.  There are two or three steps into each of the Lodges and some have side ramp access.  The Lodges all have a veranda area with a picnic bench, or garden furniture.  The Lodges have double doors at the front, which can both be opened for better access.

Parking is provided alongside all of our Lodges, which permit two cars per unit (three at the Larches), with additional cars to be parked on the forecourt at the entrance to the Holiday Park.

We do not currently have any disabled friendly Lodges.

Touring Pitches

Our touring pitches are all on ground level and accessed by the main tarmac road, some by the gravel road and others over the grass area.  The majority of pitches are gravel under foot, but we do have a limited number of grass pitches (weather dependent) on our over-flow area.

All of our touring pitches have parking alongside for one car and additional cars can be parked on the forecourt.  Motorhome pitches require any additional cars to be parked on the forecourt as our site license is for one motorised vehicle per pitch.

Electric hook-ups are available on all pitches and are shared numbered bollards with a light on top.  Water and chemical disposal point is located on the touring area with key access required (no drive-over dump station is currently available).
