Join the North of Scotland's longest running paranormal team, Highland Paranormal, for an evening of paranormal investigation.

The Ballater Walking Festival is now in its 28th year and started when the Chairman of Ballater (RD) Ltd and the CEO of Scottish Enterprise discussed a community engagement tied to our natural tourist resource – namely hills and walking.

The Culter Gala will take place on Saturday 31st May.

The Angus Show is a great family day out! There will be main ring entertainment, children’s races, bouncy castles and carnival rides.  Plus much much more! 

Also expect to see showing classes for cattle, sheep, horses, goats and dogs.  Schedules and entry forms will be out soon.

There will be a very impressive display at The Truck Show and Vintage Vehicles. 

The Aberdeen Highland Games will return next summer at Hazlehead Park on Sunday 15 June 2025! 

A highlight on the Aberdeen summer calendar, it promises to be a day full of fun for all the family; from traditional Highland Games events, quality trade and charity stalls, stage entertainment from professional performers as well as local community groups and a range of activities that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Now in its 35th year, this popular festival features some of the best traditional and contemporary folk music, concerts, ceilidh, sessions, singarounds and workshops, plus the famous aqua ceilidh and world paper ’n’ comb championships.

The Tall Ships Races is Europe's largest free family event and we encourage everyone to get involved to help make it a huge success.

The Tall Ships Races 2025 will take the majestic fleet through the English channel and North Sea to Le Havre, Dunkirk, Aberdeen, Kristiansand and Esbjerg.
