Argaty Red Kites

Absent in Scotland’s skies for over a century, red kites are slowly making a comeback thanks to an exciting project to re-introduce them. Visitors to Argaty can now enjoy fantastic views of one of Scotland’s rarest breeding birds coming down for their daily feed.

RSPB Loch Lomond

RSPB Scotland Loch Lomond is a special place for wildlife. Located on the south-east shores of the loch, the site has a variety of habitats from ancient woodlands to wildflower meadows and grasslands.
Falls of Dochart, Killin
The Falls of Dochart are a cascade of waterfalls situated on the River Dochart in the village Killin. They are a beautiful sight, and quite spectacular when the river is in spate.
Bracklinn Falls, above Callander
Visited by Queen Victoria, the Bracklinn Falls are one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Scotland. Located in the woods above the town of Callander, they are especially impressive after a heavy rain fall.
Samson’s Putting Stone
This large boulder resting on top of Bochastle Hill is steeped in legend. Folklore tells the story that it was one of several stones thrown in a competition of the Fingalian Giants. The land is owned by The Woodland Trust.
