Glenshee Snowsports Centre

Glenshee is the largest ski resort in the UK and one of the most popular destinations for skiing in Scotland. Covering over 2,000 acres across four mountains and three valleys, it offers an unforgettable experience for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
With 36 runs and 40km of pisted slopes, Glenshee caters to everyone, from gentle beginner areas to more challenging runs for experienced skiers. The longest run, Glas Maol, stretches for an impressive 2km. Modern lift systems, extensive snow-making facilities, and incredible panoramic views make Glenshee a must-visit for any winter sports enthusiast.

The Lecht Ski Centre
Strathdon, Aberdeenshire AB36 8YP
Located in the eastern Cairngorms, The Lecht is a fantastic alternative or addition to your ski trip. Sitting at 2,090ft above sea level, it offers reliable conditions and a welcoming, accessible environment.
With 20 maintained runs and 14 lifts, The Lecht is particularly well suited to beginners and families, while still offering enough variety for more experienced visitors.
Around 1.5 hours from Deeside Holiday Park, it’s a great option for a relaxed day on the slopes.

The Scottish ski season typically runs from December through to early spring, depending on snowfall and conditions.

- December & March – quieter slopes and great value
- Snow conditions can vary, so it’s always worth checking forecasts before travelling
