Wood Leisure Holiday Parks are over the mooon to be sponsoring a coo as part of the Hairy Highland Coo Trail coming to Perth & Kinross this summer in aid of Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
The Hairy Highland Coo Trail features 30 colourful giant highland cow sculptures and Wood Leisure have chosen to locate the one they are sponsoring in The Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie.
This free art trail is perfect for keeping children entertained over the summer holidays, as it will run for 10 weeks from 28th June through to the 6th of September. Visitors can use a bespoke map and mobile app to help them navigate the trail, discover new places and unlock exciting rewards and discounts. The app is available to download from Apple and Google Playstore. Simply search Hairy Highland Coo Trail 2024, or click the corresponding logo. The 99p charge will go to CHAS to support children with life-shortening conditions and their families.
Each highland coo sculpture is decorated by local artists and communities. The Blairgowrie Coo is decorated by artist Charlie Dear and is called Perthshire Big Tree Coontry. It is a stunning design and is sure to draw attention in its prime location in The Wellmeadow.
