This is the UK's original closed-roads sportive, with just 5,000 places on offer each year. This exciting event attracts riders from all over the UK to take on one of the most breathtaking rides through some of the most scenic parts of Highland Perthshire.

The annual Atholl Highlanders Parade will return to Blair Castle on Saturday the 24th May 2025.
Entry to the parade is included with your Gardens ticket, which can be purchased online today. By booking online, you’ll enjoy two great benefits: quicker entry on the day and a discounted ticket price.
Strongmen from around Scotland take centre stage to battle it out. Events include tossing the caber, putting the shot and throwing the hammer. There are plenty of other attractions, such as highland dancing, tug o’ war, solo piping, trade stands and refreshments to provide a fun day out for all the family.
The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band Highland Nights will run every Monday from the end of May 2024 to the start of September 2024 from 7.30pm to 9.pm - gates open at 7pm .
Scone Palace Garden Fair will be the perfect day out for gardening enthusiasts and their families. In the Gardens at Scone Palace, come and experience a line-up of top nurseries selling quality plants, gardening workshops, competitions, and more.
The Cateran Yomp is the biggest, toughest event of its kind. Every year, hundreds of Yompers gather in the Scottish wilderness to battle through the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains, walking continuously for 54, 36 or 22 miles over 24 hours. Based on an infamous long-distance military training march, it takes every ounce of grit you possess. And every single step helps our mission: to be there for soldiers, for veterans, for their families. For life.
The Angus Show is a great family day out! There will be main ring entertainment, children’s races, bouncy castles and carnival rides. Plus much much more!
Also expect to see showing classes for cattle, sheep, horses, goats and dogs. Schedules and entry forms will be out soon.

Perth Highland Games is one of the most popular events in the Scottish Highland Games calendar, which runs from May to mid-September each year. Our Highland Games include traditional Heavyweight events such as throwing weights, hammers and tossing the caber.

The Perth Show hosts everything from clydesdale horses, highland cows, working hunter horses, show jumping, vintage tractors and machinery, to children's activities and fantastic local food and drink.

The inaugural Scone Palace International Horse Trials event will take place 21-24 August 2025, in the stunning grounds of Scone Palace and Perth Racecourse. Launched in partnership with British Eventing, this new CCI4*-L horse trials event promises to deliver four thrilling days of competition, with ambitions firmly set on becoming Scotland’s leading equestrian event.
There will be events such as Highland Dancing, Tug of War, bagpipes aplenty and much more!
Perthshire's go-to dog event is back for 2025! It is the perfect chance to treat your four-legged friend to a great day out! Paws at the Palace will feature doggy fun and games, parades of different breeds, agility classes and some paw-some demonstrations.
