What's On in Perthshire

It's "Mother" Gabi Goose's final day as manager of McGregory's Eggery (Earthshire's Most EGGxcellent Eggs!), and she's looking forward to retiring after many happy years' loyal service. But hold on - who's this that's just turned up? It's Greta Garbage, the new owner, and she's got some rather worrying plans for the business. No more free ranging Geese - she's caging them all, and if you're not careful, she'll cage you too!

The Singing Signing Santa is back at Peel Farm for 2024, but this Santa is a special Santa! He also knows that some kids struggle to find the words to communicate or even to say ‘Hi’. Our Santa knows Makaton, making sure that every child, no matter what communication they use can enjoy the magical experience of Santa’s Grotto, this Christmas!

Every weekend throughout December (also including Saturday 30th November) leading up to Christmas we are delighted to have Santa with us between 10.10am and 4.00pm each Saturday and Sunday.

Join our hero Aladdin, his hilarious mother Widow Twankie and his daft brother Wishee Washee with a full supporting cast on a magical adventure of good versus evil as they try to defeat the Wicked Sorcerer Abanazer and his plan to become the "richest man in the world".

This is the UK's original closed-roads sportive, with just 5,000 places on offer each year. This exciting event attracts riders from all over the UK to take on one of the most breathtaking rides through some of the most scenic parts of Highland Perthshire.

This event has two distances for you to choose from both of which start and finish in Pitlochry. One is 85 miles and the other 40 miles. 

The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band Highland Nights will run every Monday from the end of May 2024 to the start of September 2024 from 7.30pm to 9.pm - gates open at 7pm .
