Lomond Woods Holiday Park beat off some stiff competition on Sunday 29th October to be crowned ‘Best Glamping’ winners at the 2017 Scottish Outdoor Leisure Awards held in the Glasgow Marriott. The strong competition included fantastic entries from some of Scotland’s best glamping establishments with Loch Tay Highland Lodges deservedly taking the runners up title. The Wood Leisure team took to the stage to collect their prize from The X Factor’s James Hughes.

Now in its second year, the Scottish Outdoor Leisure Awards were created to showcase and reward outstanding contributions to Scotland’s outdoor and leisure industry across 17 categories including Scotland’s Best Glamping. With over 35,000 votes cast this year the park is thrilled to have not only won but to have just been shortlisted as finalists for the 2017 awards which was a fantastic achievement in itself.
