Supporting Meningitis Now!

We were delighted to hand over a cheque to Meningitis Now for £3,000. We’ve not managed our usual fundraising events over the last couple of years but thanks to our generous customers and contribution by the Wood Family we were still able to support such an important charity to us!

Colin, founder of Wood Leisure is pictured here with Alison from Meningitis Now. Colin contracted meningitis and sepsis just over 3 years ago and was critically ill, but thankfully he’s made a fabulous recovery. Meningitis Now also kindly featured our fundraising effforts over the years on a blog on the Menintigis Now website.

Alison and Meningitis Now provide invaluable support to individuals and families who are seriously affected by this horrible disease and haven’t been as lucky as us.
